Corte Madera Resident Arrested In Novato

Report of suspicious activity leads Novato Police to bust two for drug possession.

Novato Police discovered two people with drugs and drug paraphernalia in a parked car recently.

Police arrested Corte Madera's Cheryl Chou, 29, for Possession of a Narcotic Controlled Substance on Nov. 15 and booked her into Marin County Jail. Bail was set at $5,000.

Also arrested was Novato's joseph Denatale-Watson, 27, for Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia.

Police received an anonymous report of a suspicious couple rummaging through a car in the area of Bahia Avenue and Topaz Drive in Novato at 1:30 a.m. Chou and Denatale-Watson were found in Chou's car. Chou was found with oxycodone and methadone.
