Parade theme "Greener Pastures" - Sustaining Petaluma's Future
Celebrating Petaluma's march towards a brighter, eco-conscious tomorrow!
Petaluma proudly presents its 41st annual Parade, "Greener Pastures" - Sustaining Petaluma's Future. Join us as we paint the town green and celebrate the importance of sustainability and preserving our City and planet. From enchanting farm-inspired floats to innovative displays promoting responsible practices, enjoy the eco-conscious messages highlighting the connection between our community, businesses, and the environment and marking 41 years of this annual tradition.
Our Butter &amp; Egg Days Parade will showcase over 150 units with approximately 3,000 participants and 200 volunteers. The Festival is a feast for the entire family, offering a wide variety of festival foods, crafts, arts, two large "kid areas," and so much more, all spread over four city blocks. 
On Saturday, April 20, the Parade steps off at noon and will march through the historic downtown, surrounded by a festival of fun and activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
10 am Watch the Cow Chips fly at the Cow Chip Tossing Competition in front of McNears Restaurant.
10:15 am Don't miss the Cutest ALittle Chick Competition outside Copperfields Books
Clover Sonoma will return to lead the Clover Kids' Parade, which will precede the main Parade at 11:30 a.m. with a procession of preschoolers, primary-grade youngsters, and their families.
The Main Parade kicks off at Noon.
Remember, the buses are free to ride all day, so leave the chariot at home and take an adventure on Petaluma Transit.

9 am – 1pm Spring Plant Swap with Seed &amp; Soul Club
Located in the Picnic Grove at Marin Art and Garden Center, this annual event is an opportunity to grow your collection and share with other enthusiasts; bring cuttings, plants, pots and accessories to swap. Registration ($26.50) is required but you don’t have to bring plants to swap. All proceeds from the sale go right back to support the gardens!
