Restore Habitat, Get a Christmas Tree

Marin County Parks invites the public to come out to Ring Mountain in Tiburon to pick out, cut down, and take home their own holiday tree from the preserve. Girl Scout Troops #31522 and #37029 will also be running a holiday swag-making booth using garlands harvested from the preserve. Because pine trees are invading the preserve and threatening native habitats, this event will serve as both an important restoration project as well as a fun holiday event for the whole family.

Prop 37 would have exempted "organic" food from the labeling requirement. What sense doesRead More that make? (Answer: none.)
