Tavern at Lark Creek, Yankee Pier Celebrate 'Teacher Appreciation Month' In May

Tavern at Lark Creek and Yankee Pier in Larkspur will celebrate "Teacher Appreciation Month" in May by offering a discount to educators.

The restaurants will be picking up the tab for the first $10 spent by each teacher or school employee, even if the bill is only $10 (excluding tax, alcohol, and gratuity).

The discount will be available to teachers and school employees with valid identification from May 1–31, 2012. There are no restrictions on how many teachers may dine together, how often they may dine, or how much money they need to spend to receive the gift.

“Teacher Appreciation month is a reward for teachers in response to all they do for our children on a daily basis,” says Michael Dellar, co-founder, president and CEO of Lark Creek Restaurant Group, and father of two public school teachers. “Giving back is key for us at Lark Creek Restaurant Group; we understand the challenges teachers face, especially given the decreases in budgets, and want to say a big “thank you” for their dedication and hard work.”
