The North Bay FC Wave of the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) partners with To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation and other Marin Nonprofits

The North Bay FC Wave, Marin County’s first semi-pro soccer team which finished in second place in the Pacific North conference last year and earned a full sponsorship for their summer league play, will support several Bay Area non-profits by dedicating this season’s games to groups that target social issues, homelessness, eating disorders and domestic violence and health issues. The North Bay FC Wave will donate 100 % of the proceeds from each game to a designated nonprofit and will help spread the word about each nonprofit’s mission via games and outreach.  Recipients this summer include Homeward Bound of Marin (5/21, Novato High School,) the Center for Domestic Peace (6/5, Tamalpais High School,) Beyond Hunger (7/16 Novato High School) and To Celebrate Life Breast Cancer Foundation (6/12, Redwood High School).
