Town Center Corte Madera will kickoff summer once again with their free Summer Music Series, every Sunday afternoon beginning June 10th through September 30th from 2pm to 4pm in the center court area in front of the Elephant Fountain. Shoppers can relax and enjoy a wide variety of musical genres from blues to pop, jazz, Caribbean drums and classic rock. Known for its family-friendly atmosphere, Town Center is the place to bring everyone in the family, enjoy lunch or a snack outdoors while you listen to live music and take a relaxing break from shopping at any of Town Center’s 65 stores. On September 2nd there will be children’s entertainment by Scott, The Storyteller. The Series begins with Black Olive Jazz Band and runs through September 30th. (See full schedule below).
Town Center Corte Madera, located on the West side of Highway 101 at the Tamalpais Drive exit, has become known as the Marin location for delicious healthy food, specialty clothiers and stores boasting unique home furnishings and gift items. Throughout the year, the Town Center hosts a number of community-driven events like the annual Trick or Treat Day for kids, the world’s largest Thanksgiving turkey which collects donations for Marin Community Food Bank, and free Christmas holiday gift wrapping by volunteers from Hospice by the Bay.
