And The Cutest Dog Is ...

It was a close call to find the cutest dog in Larkspur and Corte Madera, but Corte Madera's Muffin stole voters' hearts.

Congratulations to Corte Madera's Elizabeth Dorazio and her Yorkie-poo pup Muffin, who won a close vote for the cutest dog in the Larkspur and Corte Madera area, including Kentfield and Greenbrae. Dorazio will receive a $25 gift certificate to a local pet supply store, two Patch T-shirts and two Patch water bottles.

The first runner up, Kelly Kozma, along with Ruby and Cletus, will receive two Patch water bottles.

It’s also worth noting two other pups that came close to second place: Pepper and Wally.

We wanted to learn a little bit about Muffin, so we asked Dorazio a few questions about her fluffy pooch:

How old is Muffin?

Muffin is 15 weeks old. She is a Yorkie-poo, or a mix of Yorkie and Toy Poodle. We started living with Muffin when she was 11 weeks old, so we have lived with her about a month.

What is Muffin like?

Muffin has adorable personality. She is so sweet. She loves to pick up random items like socks or shoes on the floor, and take them back to her bed. She also loves sliding down the loose dirt on the slope in our backyard for long periods of time. She loves to find rocks and bury them, and play fetch.

How is Muffin around people and other dogs?

Muffin loves to cuddle! She also loves to give kisses (lick our faces), which is so adorable. Muffin will not receive all her shots until 16 weeks, so she has only ever met one other dog. They seemed to get along. When she gets all her shots next week, we will start taking her on walks and will know more about this.

What is Muffin's favorite hobby?

I would have to say Muffin's favorite activity is sliding down the loose dirt on our hill in the backyard.  That is the first place she runs to when we take her outside, and she could do that forever.

Thanks to everyone who entered the contest and helped picked the winner.
