Daily Planner: Take A Nature Hike

Catch sight of the migrating birds in Cascade Canyon during a guided walk on Friday.

Here are some of the highlights happening around the Larkspur and Corte Madera Twin Cities area August 23-24:

Here's a chance to practice your photography skills and test your nature knowledge. Join Dave Herlocker for a guided walk through Cascade Canyon on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The walk will focus on the upper canyon where the creek still flows. There should be plenty of birds, maybe even some western tanagers and Cassin's vireos on their way south. Bring your camera and send your photos from the hike to our Facebook page.
