Daily Planner: What's In Your Food?

Around Town July 24-25: What's the truth about GMOs?; What's your favorite find at the farmers market?

One of the biggest topics surrounding food is genetic modification. Are GMOs safe? Could this technology be the answer to global hunger?

These are questions that will be held up to the spotlight when the Truth About GMOs Tour stops at the Sunrise Center in Corte Madera on Wednesday at 10 a.m. GMO food expert Jeffrey Smith and Marin pediatrician Myrto Ashe, MD. will be among the main speakers at the free event.
