Dinner for Veterans and a Storytelling Weekend

Veterans Day Weekend has a ton of activity going on in and around the area, and here are some of what we found on the Larkspur Corte Madera Patch events calendar.

• , Larkspur/Corte Madera, is hosting a . All proceeds go to support Fisher House. Fisher House provides free, temporay housing for families visiting their wounded service members at Travis Air Force Base Hospital.

• Looking to clear out the garage? Help is on the way. Corte Madera Town Centeris the site of a free recycling event Saturday and Sunday. Recyclers will accept e-waste and textiles among other items.

• The Marin Humane Society will be at The Village, noon-3 p.m. Saturday, to help families find the right pet to take home.
