Evening Of Music To Benefit Bread & Roses; Comedian Durst Sharpening His Political Focus

Around Town March 9-10: Enjoy music, comedy and good food wherever you go in the Twin Cities this weekend.

• Local high school musicians will perform at Max's Cafe on Saturday, March 10, from 7-10 p.m. in a benefit for Bread & Roses. Bread & Roses will receive ten percent of the food/drink that is sold on each evening in addition to the proceeds from a special donations box at the front of the stage. Funds raised will help support its ongoing program of bringing hope and healing through live music to audiences isolated in Bay Area institutions.

• He has one of the sharpest political minds around, which might explain why Will Durst is on the stage and not in the Senate. Durst drops by The Lark Theater on Saturday, March 10, at 8 p.m. for a rousing night of laughs. Tickets are $25.
