Get A Fresh Start For Summer

Around Town June 11-12: Teens, get tips on creating your own space with Tuesday's class at the Corte Madera Library.

Well kids, it's summertime now and you know what that means … Time to clean your room?!

Well, think of it as part of the transition between high school and graduation. The Corte Madera Library is hosting a special class for teens Tuesday at 4 p.m. regarding how to recreate and redesign your room.

Here are a few other ways to start the week:

• Join the co-founders of Trans-Sierra Xtreme (TSX), Challenge Chris Casado and Mike Murphy, for a digital presentation of their favorite trans-Sierra adventure, a week-long 75-mile journey across remote sections of Sequoia and Kings Canyon to the summit of Mt. Whitney. The REI presentation begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

• In observation of the upcoming Father’s Day holiday, Hospice By The Bay is offering a unique opportunity to remember our fathers. The group meets Tuesday, from 6-8 p.m.
