Happy Anniversary Golden Gate Bridge!

Kids celebrate at their local library and county fair

Children are invited to celebrate the Golden Gate Bridge’s 75th anniversary at their local Marin County Free library, during National Library Week, April 10-16.

If they read a book in the library about the Golden Gate Bridge and take a short quiz, they will receive a free kid’s pass (a $13 value) to the 2011 Marin County Fair.  Everyone ages 12 years old and under may play.  Little ones may be read to.  The library will have books about the Golden Gate Bridge on hand to choose from.

AND children can draw a picture of the Golden Gate Bridge, bring it to the library and receive a  second free pass to the fair. Free fair passes are good for Thursday, June 30 and Friday, July 1.
