Join Us For A Patch Party To Grow Garden Ideas

Drop by Pacific Catch this evening to offer your suggestions for a Corte Madera Community Garden.

Good food and good times today hopefully will feed ideas for a community garden in Corte Madera.

Larkspur-Corte Madera Patch is hosting a community get-together at Pacific Catch, 6:30 p.m., at the Town Center. Residents are invited to join in a respectful and friendly exchange of ideas regarding one of the hottest topics in town.

• Is there space in Corte Madera for a community garden? And if so, where should it be?

• How can organizers best minimize the impact on wildlife?

• Should there be a charge to use the garden? If so, how much?

• Should gardeners be required to donate some of the produce to schools or food banks?

These are just some of the questions that might be entertained during the evening. This could be a significant step in the development of the project.

Larkspur-Corte Madera Patch is here to help our neighbors get involved in the community and to offer everyone a voice. We're hoping to get representatives from all sides of the issue involved, so join us and bring a friend. RSVP on our Facebook page and we'll save a seat for you.
