Redwood High School continues its production of 'Into the Woods'; Tell us what you're looking for at the Corte Madera farmers market.

Here are some of the highlights happening around the Larkspur and Corte Madera Twin Cities area Nov. 14-15:

Katey Kontent's journey from a Wall Street secretarial pool through the upper echelons of New York society brings her in touch with the best — and worst — examples of humanity in The Rules of Civility.

The Larkspur Library Book Club will meet Wednesday at 7 p.m. to discuss Amor Towles' latest novel.

The story is set in New York City in 1938 as 25-year-old Katey meets charming Tinker Grey. Thus begins a new chapter of Katey's life as she connects with a shy, principled multimillionaire, an Upper East Side bad boy, and a widow who is ahead of her times. Katey is still longing to see Tinker again while she experiences first hand the good, the bad and the ugly that wealth can produce.

• Into the Woods: Redwood High School's EPIC Theatre presents Into the Woods, opening Wednesday and continuing through Saturday.

You'll recognize some of the most beloved and memorable fairy tale characters in this Stephen Sondheim musical — but maybe not quite how you remember them. Prince Charming isn't as charming as you might have thought. And Little Red Riding Hood has a serious attitude problem. In fact, the Wicked Witch is one of the nicest characters in the production.

You'll get a laugh from this amazing tale — and you might wonder why your parents thought these were such great bedtime stories for you.

• Well-Aged Wine: That glass of wine looks elegant and tastes great, and you can learn to really appreciate it with the story of wine Divine Vintage.

Follow the trail of wine through human history with wine expert Joel Butler, one of the first two resident Masters of Wine in North America, and biblical scholar Dr. Randall Heskett. They'll be at Book Passage in Corte Madera on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The authors explore how wine has dramatically influenced the evolution of human society by examining historical and biblical texts.

When you're done, head over to one of the area's many fine restaurants and put your education to good use.

• Farmers Market Fun: Hey everyone, today is Wednesday, so that means it is time to head over to the Corte Madera Town Center Farmers Market.

Check out everything the vendors have to offer -- fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and berries, as well as oils, breads and Mexican and Indian cuisine -- then come back and tell everyone what your favorites are.

The Corte Madera Farmers Market runs from noon-5 p.m., so head on out and grab some cool stuff. And don't forget to check out the Marin Country Mart Farmers Market every Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Children's Storytime: Let's not forget how reading is FUNdamental for children, too. There are a variety of reading groups for young children and their parents around town. Mother Goose is on the loose at the Corte Madera Library every Tuesday at 10 a.m. for storytime for babies 0-24 months old, with a parent or caregiver. The Larkspur Library offers fun for babies and toddlers, with songs, fingerplays, nursery rhymes and very short stories just right for this age group. Pottery Barn Kids, Barnes & Noble Booksellers and Book Passage also offer children's storytimes.
