Need A Laugh? Head To The Lark

Around Town June 1-3: Here are a few ideas for the first weekend in June.

Broadway will soon be raving about One Man, Two Guvnors, but you can get a preview right here in Larkspur.

The Lark Theater is showing a broadcast from London's National Theater of the hilarious play on Saturday at 1 p.m. Sex, food, money and music: the classic Italian comedy, A Servant of Two Masters is updated to 1960's Britain.

• Marin County Parks and The Nature Conservancy will lead an evening hike on the Ring Mountain Open Space Preserve on Saturday, from 5-7:30 p.m. Join Naturalist David Herlocker, Ring Mountain Stewardship Coordinator Sam Abercrombie, and special guest Lynn Lozier, Ring Mountain’s first steward. Ms. Lozier will share her knowledge of the history of this special place.

• Always a fun time, the farmers market returns to Marin Country Mart on Saturday, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In addition to the farm-fresh food, you can enjoy music, pony rides for the kids and more.

•Book Passage in Corte Madera and Stages on Pages present five young adult authors reading from their work Saturday at 11 a.m. Don’t miss Gretchen McNeil (Possess), Kim Culbertson (Instructions for a Broken Heart), Elise Allen (Populazzi), Stasia Kehoe (Audition), and Katherine Longshore (Gilt) debut new fiction for young adults.
