Slideshow: Larkspur/Corte Madera 4th of July Parade

People came from as far away as Calistoga to join in the Independence Day fun in the Twin Cities.

Young and old, people lined the streets of Larkspur and Corte Madera to celebrate the 4th of July. The annual parade included cheerleaders, local Little League champions, the Larkspur Walkers, American Legion and more.

Larkspur Mayor Larry Chu waved to the crowds from a classic convertible, while Supervisor Steve Kinsey opted for a newer, sportier model. Corte Madera Town Council members Diane Furst and Carla Condon and Mayor Alexandra Cock were having the time of their lives riding in the parade.

The Corte Madera Town Band made some merry music from the back of a truck and sirens wailed from vintage fire engines.
