Around Town April 10-11: The weather outside might be less than hospitable, but there's no need to feel trapped inside your own home.

Just in time for Spring Break, the rain is here and it's not going away for a few days, according to forecasters.

That doesn't mean you and the kids have to be stuck indoors all day. Here are a few options that will give you a break, without soaking you or your wallet.

• Need help starting your business, or do you just want to generate more of a buzz around your store? If so, come to this program to learn how the Small Business Development Center can help during Tuesday's free session at the Corte Madera Library, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

• Some of us are bunkered inside just watching the rain come down and trying to stay warm. More active souls might be thinking about how to get into shape and how great it'll be to get outside once the rain passes. For those folks who are up to a new challenge, REI in the Town Center is offering a free class focused on preparing for a triathlon. The class will be held Wednesday, April 11 from 7-8 p.m. at the Town Center Community Room.

• It's Spring Break and the kids don't have to be in school tomorrow, so why not take them out for some fun. The Lark Theater is showing The Lorax through Friday.
