STORM OUTAGE UPDATE: More Than 180 Est. Without Power in Larkspur

Storm-related outages were reported in Larkspur and Corte Madera, a Pacific Gas & Electric spokeswoman said.

An estimated 187 customers were reported without power due to storm-related outages in Larkspur as of 12:45 p.m. Friday, a utility spokeswoman said.

In Corte Madera there were seven customers without power, down from 36 earlier Nov. 30, Brittany McKannay of Pacific Gas & Electric said in a phone interview.

Crews were on site making repairs in both communities, McKannay said.

In Larkspur, the outages along Magnolia Avenue were due to a power pole compromised in the wet, windy weather, and the outages were expected to continue until Friday evening, McKannay said.

Wet, cool conditions were expected to continue in Larkspur and Corte Madera through Sunday evening, with a chance of clearing by Monday, according to forecasters with the National Weather Service.
