Around Town July 20-22:

Love 'em or hate 'em, the world can't survive without bees, according to experts.

Join Mea McNeil, local farmer and beekeeper, at Sloat Garden Center in Kentfield on Friday at 4 p.m. for a discussion on attracting these important pollinators. This talk, "The ABCs of Bees," will also provide you with information on the basics of beekeeping.

Check with your local town officials to identify any regulations regarding beekeeping.
