If you know someone or a group of people who made our community a better place over the past year, contributed time and effort to various causes or even made a personal impact on you, nominate him or her (or them) here.
Add a comment to this story by 5 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26. Back up your recommendation by including several reasons why that nominee is deserving. We'll compile the nominees and ask readers who they think should win. After a Person of the Year is selected, we'll will run a story about the winner.
