57th Annual San Francisco Gem & Mineral Society Show - Aug. 6 & 7
This is the original, most established show of its kind presented in San Francisco.
Highlights include an exclusive display of world-class priceless specimens by renowned mineral crystal collector Jack Halpern.
The show features 52 extraordinary exhibits and 24 top dealers – dozens of rock, gem and jewelry vendors offering rough lapidary, gem materials, fine specimens and unique jewelry never found in malls or most retail stores. Door prizes will be awarded every hour and a raffle conducted on Sunday.

The society presents educational on-site demonstrations of carving, lapidary and beadwork. In addition, a dinner and live auction fundraiser is scheduled on Saturday night (separate admission costs for the dinner).
ADMISSION: Adults: $10 Seniors & students: $8 Children under 12: Free with a paid adult.

DINNER & AUCTION: Starting at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday evening, August 6.The public is invited to attend the second annual SFGMS fundraiser: buffet dinner, wine, a live auction of fine jewelry, gemstones, specimens, materials, equipment and surprises. FREE ample parking is available in a lot on the Main Base, adjacent to the Walt Disney Family Museum. (Park towards the south end of the lot.)
ABOUT SFGMS: San Francisco Gem and Mineral Society is an all-volunteer non-profit educational organization serving San Francisco and the Bay Area. SFGMS offers classes for learning lapidary arts, jewelry making, gem cutting and earth science studies. The society maintains an extensive library and a mineral museum, and sponsors field trips for collecting and educational purposes.
