Performing classic songs from enduring masters of the art form, including Duke Ellington, the Gershwins, Rodgers and Hart, Harold Arlen, Cole Porter; and songwriters from Europe and Latin America-- Black Olive Jazz brings these two traditions together with an all-star ensemble of San Francisco jazz artists. Black Olive Jazz plays Standards, Swing, Latin and Blues with a Mediterranean flavor. Our CD, Black Magic, has received airplay on the jazz station, KCSM, and sells on CD Baby. Kay has MC'd corporate events, auctions, benefits and concerts. She sings in English, Spanish, French, and Italian, and plays percussion and finger cymbals.

Vocalist, Kay Andreas Kostopoulos is an elegant singer whose voice is inspired by the golden age of jazz. Kay pays homage to the music of Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee and Anita O’Da. Kay is a professional actress based in San Francisco who teaches Drama at Stanford University.
