Corte Madera Library 40th Anniversary

The Corte Madera Library opened in its current location 40 years ago on Dec. 1.

On Thursday, Dec. 1, 2011, the following events will help celebrate this anniversary:

12 - 4 pm: open house with displays and refreshments provided by the Friends of the Corte Madera Library.

1 - 2:30 pm: live music by local guitarist Jerry Borton

3 - 4 pm: illustrated talk "A History of the Marin County Free Library" by California Room Librarian Laurie Thompson.
