Photography Contest Deadline -- July 5

The Marin Arts Council is accepting entries for its photography contest, organizers announced.

The deadline for entry is July 5 and winners will be announced on Sept. 12, organizers said.

First, second, and third place winners will receive cash prizes between $250 and $1,000 and all photographs accepted into the contest will be on exhibit at the Marin Arts gallery at 906 Fourth St. in San Rafael between July 22 and Sept. 9.

Applicants must submit three original photographs, which can be print, digital, or manipulated, organizers said.

The photos should be no larger than 36 inches by 36 inches, including the frame. The entry fee is $125 for Marin Arts members and $150 for non-members.
