5 Fun Things To do This Week

Check out 1001 Arabian Nights under the Big Top, go to the races, or enjoy some farm-fresh food.

Iconic Marin
Visit Gallery Bergelli for a unique perspective on Marin through Bryn Craig's paintings. The free exhibition continues through October 19. The gallery is located at 483 Magnolia Ave., Larkspur.

Arabian Nights
The College of Marin Drama Department offers a "pay what you will" preview of its upcoming production of Arabian Nights. Enter the big tent on the Kentfield Campus main lawn and be swept into the fabled 1001 tales of Sheherezade. The show starts at 8 p.m.

Farmers Markets
Fresh berries steal the show at the local farmers' markets. Stop by the Corte Madera Town Center on Wednesday, noon-5 p.m., and Marin Country Mart on Saturday, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.

Food Truck Crush
Enjoy the bayside venue and exotic foods of the Food Truck Crush every Friday, 4-8 p.m., at the Larkspur Ferry Terminal.

Classic Racing
Lyn St. James, one of the first women to ever compete in the Indianapolis 500, will headline the Classic Sports Racing Group's 8th annual Charity Challenge at Infineon Raceway, Sept. 30-Oct. 2. All proceeds from the race weekend benefit Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway.

The weekend will feature a collection of more than 200 vintage racecars on the world-famous road course, including pre-war cars, sports racing cars and formula cars as well as production and GT cars. Lotus will be honored as the featured marque.  The schedule will include testing on Friday, with vintage racing slated for the 12-turn, 2.52-mile road course on Saturday and Sunday.
