Redwood High School grad J.R. Hildebrand comes back to his home track at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma trying to lock up IndyCar Series Rookie of the Year honors. He's currently in 13th place overall, tops among rookies.

The weekend will also include the Historic Grand Prix, Star Mazda Series, World Challenge and Formula Car Challenge, making for an action-packed weekend.

Tickets: $10-$65 single day/$65-$85 weekend; parking is FREE and kids 12 and under are FREE (Friday and Saturday). Garage passes are available for purchase.

FARMERS' MARKETS:

Corte Madera Town Center hosts a farmers' market every Wednesday, noon-5 p.m. Fresh fruits, vegetables, organic meats and other farm-fresh goodies can also be purchased Saturdays, 9 a.m.-2 p.m., when the rural scene shifts to Marin Country Mart.
