Free Workshop For Local Businesses

To learn more about how to use Patch and other social media to promote your business, RSVP for our Oct. 15 workshop. (Read all about it by scrolling down to the article below.)

If you're a local business owner who wants to learn more about social media, please join Patch for a free online marketing workshop, 8:30-10:30 a.m. Oct. 15 at the Pickleweed Park Community Center.

Known as Main Street U, Patch launched this workshop series in the Bay Area in January and has reached more than 260 business owners and nonprofit organizations.

The workshop covers social mediabusiness directoriesblogging and telling your story on Patch. Participants will enjoy light refreshments and will be eligible for door prizes and giveaways. Space is limited, so RSVP by filling out the form with this article.

Reviews so far of previous Patch Main Street U events have been stellar:

"What a great presentation to the Patch community of 50 plus small businesses and professional service providers, packing the three workshops... Articulate, impactful, relevant."

"This was an awesome workshop. Quick, to the point, employees willing to help. Thanks!"

We’ll be helping participating business owners claim their Patch Directory listing on our site, a free service that you can use to better promote your business. Just look up your listing in the directory and click the "Claim" button. (If your listing isn't there, you can add it or we'll add it for you.)

(Here's some more information about claiming listings.)

Participating business owners can also sign up for a free one-on-one marketing consultation with a Patch expert.

If you have questions, email Patch West Coast MSU Coordinator Kari Hulac, Kari@Patch.com.
