We want to know which Italian restaurants should be in the running for this Readers' Choice category.

Which Italian restaurant makes your soul sing "Amoré?" Which restaurant in Marin brings Italy closer to home even if your family isn't Italian? We'd love to hear your nomination for the best Italian restaurant in Marin.

Tell us your favorite spots in the comments section below, and we'll put them into a poll for everyone to vote on. Nominations are Marin-wide, so it doesn't matter in which Marin Patch town your favorite spot is located.

We'll accept nominations from Monday, June 18, to July 9. Then, on July 23, the voting begins through August 17. We will announce the winner in this category and the others on August 24. Visit our topic page for all the Readers' Choice information.

Don Antonio's in Tiburon on Ark Row. Locals know about this newer spot and love it.
Great food, friendly owners and cozy ambience keep us coming back. Be sure to make a reservation for a weekend night, though...everyone else loves it too!

There are so many good ones, La Toscana, Il Davide, both Joe's, Chianti, and a recent favorite, Napoli.

Arriverderci on 3rd Steet in West End San Rafael. Love the Ceasar Salad dressing and large servings of pasta for a very reasonable price. Beer on tap at lunch was only $4.

Benissimo, by far!! Bob's Italian relatives toured the whole darn country and proclaimed Benissimo the most authentic Italian food -- and then there's the fact that they are investing heavily (way more than they had planned) into creating a community cafe for the Twin Cities. Benissimo deserves the biggest thanks of all for that!!!!

Dear Jeanene. Thanks for pointing this out. You go to www.cityoflarkspur.org/recreation then look atRead More Programs and either type in App Camp or 428. Please post again to confirm it works. I really hope to feed information to the students over the vacation so early registration is a good idea. You are also welcome to email me direct - claire@kidscontent.co.uk. Many thanks, Claire

Hi Claire, I did find the info, but we don't qualify on the age requirement. He is only 10, will beRead More 11 in January. Also, there is a prerequisite for web design. I hope you will hold this again next year when he is old enough and we would like to prepare him. Can you be more specific on the prerequisites? Thanks. Jeanene
Claire Comins June 1, 2013 at 12:07 pm
Thanks Jeanene. The age guideline is a good guide as children really need to have done algebra toRead More understand coding. There are some great new apps to help younger children start programming. I'll be posting an article on this on my kidscontent.co.uk website soon and via @clairecomins on twitter. Keep in touch and please do spread the word about AppCamp so it can happen again! Thanks, Claire
