5 Things To Do Wednesday

Take some time tonight to educate yourself about being safe and healthy.

CLASSES
• The Marin Cancer Institute is hosting "Foods for Health" with Jeannine Vitall-Schulz, RD and Janet Dresser, RN and chef. The class begins at 5:30 p.m.

• Concussions are being taken more seriously in light of recent injuries. The Marin County Office of Education is working with the Marin Brain Injury Network to educate parents and students about the effects of concussions with the "Heads Up" Forum today, from 5-6:30 p.m., at the Marin County Office of Education in San Rafael.

• A free bicycle safety class is being offered today, 6:30-8:30 p.m., at Marin General Hospital. Think you know everything about  riding? You might still learn a thing or two from this class co-sponsored by the Marin Bicycle Coalition, Marin law enforcement agencies, WalkBikeMarin and Marin General Hospital.

SHOPPING
• Need some fresh groceries or maybe just a really good snack Try the farmers market at the Corte Madera Town Center. The market is open noon-5 p.m. every Wednesday, rain or shine.

ENTERTAINMENT
• Redwood High School kicks off four days of Shakespeare tonight at 7:30 p.m. on campus.
