Dick Clark Dies at Age 82
American Bandstand was the MTV of the pre-cable generation.
The Huffington Post and other meida outlets are reporting the death of Dick Clark, host of American Bandstand and a regular fixture each New Years Eve as Americans counted down the seconds to a new year.
American Bandstand was the MTV for those of us old enough to remember pre-cable TV days!
