Rainy Day Safety Tips

Police advise motorists and cyclists to slow down on slick roads.

The Twin Cities Police would like to remind drivers roads are slick due to the rainy weather. Please drive with caution and watch out for pedestrians and bicyclists as we all share the road. Slow your speeds and be careful of painted road surfaces and standing water.

Did You Know? California Vehicle Code 24400(c)(2) states: A condition requiring the windshield wipers to be in continuous use due to rain, mist, snow, fog, or other precipitation or atmospheric moisture headlamps shall be on. Lights on for safety benefits everyone.
