Water, Water Everywhere

Leak at Larkspur Landing Circle causes some confusion and concern among locals.

There was no rain in the forecast for such a sunny day, so people were naturally a little confused as to the source of the water pouring down Larkspur Landing Circle on Tuesday afternoon.

Investigators from the Department of Public Works and the Sanitary District determined the source of the leak was an irrigation line in front of the Larkspur Landing Office Park. Workers determined there was no immediate health threat, as the water bubbling up from a manhole was not coming from a sewer line.

A few drivers slowed, even stopped, to ask workers about the leak. The ongoing investigation into the Ross Valley sewer line break still has some residents worried, workers said.
