Mother's Day is the perfect time to treat the moms, grandmas, sisters and aunts in your life! Celebrate the holiday, which falls on Sunday, May 12 this year, by enjoying a delicious brunch or dinner at a favorite restaurant in Corte Madera or Larkspur.
The Tavern at Lark Creek features Chef Aaron Wright’s farm-fresh, seasonal and sustainable cuisine that for Mother’s Day brunch will include a three course prix-fixe, with multiple choices for each course, for $41 per person. Dishes will include Crispy Semolina Oysters with fennel – orange marmalade, arugula, watercress, and shallot vinaigrette; Seared King Salmon with snap peas, pea tendrils, leeks, herb spaetzle, and bacon vinaigrette; and Citrus Panna Cotta with rhubarb, strawberries, and lime cookie crumble.
Left Bank Brasserie will offer brunch specials that include Laughing Bird Shrimp Salad with pancetta, tomato, a Fallon Hills hardboiled egg and rouille vinaigrette ($17.50) and Sugar Snap Pea Vichyssoise with mint, asparagus and lemon oil ($11.50). For dinner, guests can enjoy the featured special of Slow Roasted Alaskan Halibut with risotto, broccoli di cicco, black garlic and sauce vierge ($29.00).
And if going out to brunch isn't your style, a chocolate chip pancake breakfast in bed will brighten any mom's day.
