Your Water Rates Could Soon Be Going Up
Around Town Feb. 1-2: The Marin Municipal Water District will consider a rate increase at Thursday's meeting.
• The Marin Municipal Water District Board of Directors will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday to consider increasing water rates by 6.5 percent, beginning May 1. The board will meet at the district office, 220 Nellen Ave. in Corte Madera.
• This year’s choice for One Book, One Marin is The Oracle of Stamboul, an acclaimed first novel by Michael David Lukas. Drop by Book Passage in Corte Madera on Thursday at 7 p.m. to hear tales of the Ottoman Empire.
