Concert for Casa
Local Teens Perform in Concert Fundraiser for Tijuana Orphanage
Jacob Skaggs has a heart for the children of Casa de la Esperanze orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico. This is the 2011 Redwood High grad's 4th fundraising concert. "This year we are hoping to raise over $16,000 to fund professional counseling for the children at the orphanage, as well as to grow the fund allowing college education of current and future Casa students," said nineteen-year-old Jacob.
Jacob, a musician and Northwestern University student, has gathered local teen bands to perform, plus a silent auction and authentic Mexican dinner for $15. Pre-order tickets for the concert and dinner at jacob@concertforcasa.org.
