Expert Organic Farming Techniques for Gardens of All sizes: A One Book One MarinEvent

Peter Martinelli of Fresh
Run Farms, farms 22.5 acres of certified organic crop land on the Bolinas
Peninsula. He was a founding member of Marin Organic and has been instrumental
in creating the country's first apprenticeship program for organic farming and
gardening.  Peter will discuss the

fundamentals of organic farming, how his systems integrate with

the surrounding natural environment, and how his techniques can be adapted
to gardens of all sizes.


This event is part of
One Book One Marin 2014:  a community wide reading event sponsored by
Marin public libraries, Book Passage, and Dominican University.  This
year’s selection is Farm City by Novella Carpenter.  For a complete
