Don't wait any longer to have crucial and basic documents that once signed and notarized will, in the event of your incapacity through trauma or stoke, save your loved ones from having to guess at your end of life wishes or fight with your banking institutions to pay your mortgage or handle your insurance claims.

This short estate planning workshop focuses on what everyone needs to protect themselves and their loved ones in case of incapacity. Participants will have an opportunity to have their general legal questions answered by an attorney, Colleen Shaw, and to explore common individual and family dynamic issues that may arise in later life planning with Nancy Rhine, Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Gerontologist. At a subsequent session, simple incapacity documents will be prepared for workshop participants by volunteer attorneys, as a community service provided by the Marin County Bar Association’s Pro Bono Committee and Legal Aid of Marin.
If more advanced work is necessary, the Marin County Bar Association will refer the participant to a qualified local attorney.
There is no charge and no obligation to attend this workshop.
