Galilee Harbor Maritime Day!

Galilee Harbor Maritime Day celebrates our 33rd year by honoring the history of 'Tiki Junction!'  Join us on August 3, 2013 at 300 Napa Street in Sausalito.  Festivities begin at 8am and go until 7pm.  Admission is free!  Bring cash for fish n' chips, drinks and homemade pie!  galileeharbor@gmail.org

Tiki carving demonstration by Steve Weaver.  Steve learned tiki carving from the legendary Barney West during the 60's and 70's when Barney carved towering tikis on the land adjacent to Galilee Harbor - 'Tiki Junction.'

Boat rides on the historic Famiglia Santa

Boat tours of the Chinese junk replica Grace Quan, the historic scow schooner Alma and Galilee Harbor resident houseboats!

Live music by Fiver Brown, The UFO's, The Waterfront Pickers and El Radio Fantastique!

You'll want to arrive early for the Marine Flea Market and to sign up for the Dinghy Dash!  This is a fun-filled event for the whole family that you won't want to miss! 

Galilee Harbor Community Association, founded in 1983, is a cooperative maritime neighborhood dedicated to continuing maritime arts and skills while providing affordable floating housing on the Sausalito waterfront.  http://galileeharbor.org/
