Join Marin Business and Community Leaders at the Marin Brewing Company to Fight Muscular Dystrophy!
Come join us on Thursday, September 12th at the Marin Brewing Company to see who's been put "Behind Bars For Good"!
This year, Marin business and community leaders who've been charged with having a big heart are going behind bars to help raise money for local families living with muscle disease. Each "Jailbird" sets out to raise $1600 to support these families and help send two local children to summer camp in Occidental, CA. You can see who's been thrown in the smaller and contribute to a Jailbird's bail by visiting their website at http://www.mdalockup.org/marin and clicking on the "Support A Jailbird!" link. You can also show your support with a check or cash donation made payable to the MDA.
The Muscular Dystrophy Association is the nonprofit agency dedicated to finding treatments and cures for muscle diseases. In addition to funding some 300 research teams worldwide, we maintain a network of five local medical clinics, provide support groups for families affected by neuromuscular diseases and provide a free summer camp in the Sonoma County redwoods for local children every summer.
