Polar Express Storytime at Barnes & Noble

Barnes & Noble Corte Madera will ring in the holiday season with a free Storytime featuring a reading of author Chris Van Allsburg’s beloved tale, The Polar Express, on Friday, December 6th at 7pm.

Children are invited to dress in their pajamas and “wind their way to the North Pole” during a reading of the holiday classic.  Booksellers will add to the festivities by showcasing The Polar Express on the spectacular display of NOOK® HD+, packed with pixels to deliver text, graphics and video with stunning HD clarity.  Van Allsburg’s lush illustrations dazzle on the device’s high-definition screen. Holiday treats and fun activities will round out the festivities.

“Families come year after year, many dressed in their holiday pajamas, to participate in this event,” said Laurel Kidd, Community Relations Manager for Barnes & Noble Corte Madera.  “The Polar Express ignites imaginations and gets everyone in the holiday spirit.” The Polar Express Storytime event is free and open to the public.  For further details, contact any Barnes & Noble store, visit the Barnes & Noble Store Locator, or contact Laurel Kidd for information about the Corte Madera event at crm2274@bn.com.
