Spirit of Marin

Bank of Marin will host the 19th annual Spirit of Marin Awards luncheon on Friday, September 28 at the historic St. Vincent’s School for Boys in San Rafael. The yearly event recognizes Marin business leaders for their philanthropic contributions and community commitment, as nominated by the twelve participating Marin County-based Chambers of Commerce. One of the largest and most prestigious business awards events in the County, Spirit of Marin was started in 1993 to honor the dedication and generosity of Marin business leaders.

The luncheon event begins at 11:30 am and reservations are required. Tickets are $50 before September 21 and $60 after that date. To make a reservation, go to: www.bankofmarin.com.

This year, the audience will be joined by keynote speaker, Steve Lavin, head coach of the men’s basketball team at St. John’s University in Queens, New York. Born and raised in Marin, Lavin has been a top analyst for ESPN and is the former head coach of the UCLA men’s basketball team. Entertainment will be provided by the Marin Youth Symphony.

Colombo. “We are grateful for their generous philanthropic and volunteer support that continues to make Marin County a great place to work and live.”
