Never Too Old For The Adventure Of A Lifetime

Around Town March 19-20: Visit the Larkspur Library to hear how one woman celebrated her 80th birthday — with a family trip to Antarctica.

Here are a few fun things you can do to kick off your week:

• The only thing Diana Saint James’ mother wanted for her 80th birthday was to take their family of eight to … Antarctica? They did it this past December and Diana will share tales of frozen adventure. Bring your questions for Grandma, who will be in attendance. This presentation is part of the Larkspur Library’s Armchair Travel Series.

• Marin Catholic is scheduled to host Terra Linda on the baseball diamond at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 20. Meanwhile, the Wildcats will host the Trojans in a men's lacrosse showdown at 5:30 p.m.
