Corte Madera Avenue to Camino Alto Now Safer for Cyclists and Cars

The Town of Corte Madera Department of Public Works recently transformed Corte Madera Avenue on the grade to Camino Alto.  In response to requests from the Town’s Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee and the Marin County Bicycle Coalition, the Town agreed to install additional pavement and adjust the paint striping to provide improved areas where motor vehicles may pass  cyclists proceeding uphill.  We also appreciate the cooperation of Ghilotti Construction and Coastland Civil Engineering and their responsive crew of employees.
