Point Blank: Final Presidential Debate or Game 7 of the NLCS?

Patch will be watching the debate at the Lark Theater, but we can't say we won't be checking our phones for updates on Game 7 of the NLCS. What about you?

Talk about tough decisions.

If you're a diehard fan of both politics and baseball, tonight poses a viewing dilemma:

  • Do you watch the final debate between President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney? Patch will be at the presidential debate event at the Lark Theater.
  • Do you watch Game 7 of the National League Championship, when either the San Francisco Giants or the St. Louis Cardinals break the tie and seize a World Series berth?
  • Do you switch between the two events, or try to watch them both at once?

Game 7 starts in AT&T Park at 5:07 p.m. local time. The debate begins at 6 p.m.

If you want to watch the debate with us, here's the 411: Tickets are $10 for general admission or $20 ($18 members) including a ticket, a soft drink, popcorn and pizza or hot dog. Call 415-924-511 for advance tickets or go to the Lark Theater website. The Lark is at 549 Magnolia Avenue in downtown Larkspur.

Which event is getting the lion's share of your attention tonight?

If you have a viewing plan, please let us know in the comments: Debate? Game? Both? Or neither?

Prop 37 would have exempted "organic" food from the labeling requirement. What sense doesRead More that make? (Answer: none.)
