$3,700 Wedding Ring Stolen at Bed Bath & Beyond in Larkspur

Police say a white gold ring with 10 diamonds on top was taken from an employee who had set it down as he washed his hands.

An employee at Bed Bath & Beyond in the Marin Country Mart at Larkspur Landing reported that his wedding ring was stolen from the employee break room at around 1 p.m. Monday, according to Central Marin Police.

The ring, made of white gold with 10 diamonds on top, was valued at $3,700.

The employee told police that he had set the ring down in the break room while he washed his hands, and that he walked out of the room briefly and found it missing when he returned.

A police officer attempted to contact the person the employee had pointed out as the possible thief, but the store's manager refused to cooperate. Police took a report.
