Auto Burglary Report Leads Police To More Cases

Two thefts were reported Friday night along Redwood Highway in Corte Madera.

Twin Cities Police Officers responding to a reported auto burglary on Redwood Highway discovered more than one car had been broken into.

The victim returned to has car to find the rear passenger-side window smashed and his iPad and a couch purse were stolen. The incident apparently happend between 9-p:45 p.m. Friday.

Whil officers were on scene, they got a report of a second break-in in the same area.

Witnesses saw a man in a New York Yankees hat and a woman sitting in a car nearby at the time of the burglaries, but it's unknown if they were involved, according to Twin Cities Police.
