Bag Containing $10K in Cash Reported Stolen from Car Parked in Larkspur

The owner of the car told police that he left the car keys in the door of the vehicle and that there was no damage to the vehicle.





A bag containing a driver's license, some credit cards and $10,000 in cash was stolen from a car parked on Riviera Circle in Larkspur over the weekend, with the car's owner telling police that he left the key n the door by mistake and that nothing was damaged in the incident.

Central Marin Police were called to the scene at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, and the owner of the car told police that the theft occurred sometime between 4 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday. 

Police took a report.
