Authorities are trying to identify a body that was pulled from San Francisco Bay Sunday morning near Point Bonita.
The U.S. Coast Guard recovered the body of an adult man near Point Bonita just before 8 a.m., transporting him to the Coast Guard's Golden Gate station near Fort Baker, where Southern Marin Fire pronounced the man dead, according to the Coast Guard.
No identification was found on the victim, and the authorities have not been able to match the man with any missing persons reports as of Sunday afternoon, the Coast Guard said.
There was no immediate information about how the victim died, according to the Coast Guard.
The case remains under investigation.
