The subject of a manhunt between Sonoma and Marin counties is also a suspect in the murder of a Castro Valley woman in Oregon.

Boyce's lawyer requested a two-week continuance before entering a plea, which was granted. Boyce is scheduled to appear in court again on May 17.

Boyce is facing charges of carjacking, kidnapping, attempted carjacking, false
imprisonment, attempted burglary and weapons charges stemming from incidents about two hours apart in Sonoma and Marin counties.

The Central Marin Police Authority received a call reporting an attempted carjacking at 6:51 p.m., where a suspect pointed a rifle at a woman's head. He ran away, and police found him nearby. The woman was identified as Tina Humphrey of Mill Valley.

San Francisco Police suspected Boyce was heading toward the Russian consulate to seek asylum, according to a KPIX report. Police who interviewed his mother indicated Boyce seemed to sympathize with the accused Boston bombers.

Boyce has also been identified by Orgeon State Police as a suspect in homicide that happened there Sunday. The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office identified the victim as 57-year-old Kirsten Elaine Englund of Castro Valley. The cause and manner of her death were not released.

Englund's body was found Sunday morning near Winchester Bay Wayfinding Point on U.S. Highway 101 three miles south of Reedsport, Ore.
